Packaging was a little lacking, but the products arrived undamaged and intact. Good instructions, even came with a replacement ABS Sensor bracket. They seem to be good quality components. The ride is smooth again, and got rid of an annoying rubber squeaking when turning front wheels. I did re-use the original top bolts, as they had an integral washer, whereas the ones that came with these did not.

It is super helpful to have a budget minded strut kit like this available. I trust 1A more than other random pre-assembled struts. They installed with no issues and I am very happy. They sent me the wrong struts at first but their customer support was so quick at sending me the correct parts that I don't have the heart to take off any more than one start.

I own a 2005 Volvo v70. The original shocks had worn out and my ride was horrible! I replaced them with this complete kit and MAN, my car rides like new! My mechanic gives these shocks a good thumbs up.He mentioned that the rear shock's post is thinner than the OEM. But I am very satisfied with the product, price and service from the 1A Auto staff.

Bought this kit for my 2000 Volvo S80, the suspension components were a direct bolt up and the redi-struts made the process simple and easy. Changed the dampening like crazy

Work good for a stock suspension on a V70 Volvo, time will tell, the Sachs units that were replaced had 97K so we will see. received a damaged front strut, which was damaged in shipping, 1A Auto sent a replacement out, ASAP. No hassle. Made the whole deal easy,Just sent in pictures of the strut still in the unopened damaged shipping box, as they had shipped it with the shipping bans still attached. Thanks for being professionals!

This was a very cost effective way to replace the suspension on my aging Volvo. I considered this option primarily because of price and convenience factor where the struts were pre-assembled. The shipping was very fast and the parts fit perfectly. The ride quality of the suspension is surprisingly good and very similar to the original stock parts it replaced. The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 star rating is the fact I don't know what the longevity will be, however I have already recommended this product to my friends.

This is my first experience with 1A Auto, and while it was generally positive, I can't honestly give them 5 stars. The pros: Fast shipping, good customer service The cons: First, with the struts, they arrived with the packaging in horrible shape. Inside both boxes (one strut per box, two boxes bundled together with plastic strapping), there isn't any inner packaging or bracing to prevent the (heavy) strut from moving around. As a result, the bottom of the strut wore a hole through the side of the box about 4-6" in diameter. The bottom part of the strut must've made so much contact due to constant contact and vibration, that it wore the paint right off, down to the bare metal. The strut is fairly robust, so it wasn't damaged, but if paint's wearing off due to internal movement, there's an issue with the packaging. Regarding the shocks, a scant two weeks after installing them, I'd hear a "clunk" in the back going over bumps, whereas it wasn't there immediately after installing them. T

Poor Quality Product

Pro: Very easy to install. Great customer service. Kit was complete. Con: I've had both front struts begin to separate from the bushing on the upper mounting plate. Strut failure within 5 years of purchase. Lesson: You get what you pay for. Struts should be replaced under limited lifetime warranty.

Shock/Strut replacement for 2004 Volvo

Hight quality replacements for the original equipment units on our 2004 Volvo (126k miles). Did the install myself aided by the excellent supplied video. Day and night difference in the feel and performance of the car for a fraction of the price I would have paid at a shop (let alone a dealer!).

The set-up that I had ordered was not for the four-c chassis. Not sure if sizing is the same, but it did not have any electrical connections. Sizing was exact and buying the complete strut was a great option though.
