Pretty happy with this product (except I see they're $20.00 cheaper today than when I bought them 2 weeks ago. Definitely have an impact wrench available as I struggled with the passenger side bolts and ended up having to buy one for the driver side.

I decided to purchase the struts with springs for ease of installation. Great choice. I also chose these items for the lifetime warranty. I have 135k on my Volvo V70. The quote for these parts from my normal shop was for more that $800, so I am obviously delighted with the savings. More important is the fact the the parts were perfect. All the needed hardware was included (6 nuts for the top mount) and the fit was exactly as it should be. The first strut took about 75 minutes from start to finish to replace the old unit and the second took less than 40 minutes. I also ordered the rear shocks and installed them the same day, so for under $216 in parts and about three hours of my time the 2001 V70 suspension is now like new! Gary F

It took care of all the issues I was having with my strut mounts that I kept replacing because the Springs were week by replacing the whole assembly I took care of all the problems and I have a marvelous quiet ride only time will tell going on a 1200 mile road trip this weekend to break them in

The struts fit like the orig and work Perfect. I can't believe the low cost of them. I went to auto zone and they wanted $100 for 1 strut WITHOUT the New spring, bearing plate and the rubber spring isolator. and as usual Very fast shipping,

Only downside to going this route is how foolish I felt about the number of struts I had replaced using spring compressors to compress, disassemble, reassemble, decompress.....never again. Restored my ride height and perform great!

I bought these for my wife's 2004 Volvo S80 and had them installed by a local European auto repair shop. The mechanic said they were a BREEZE to install and I actually was charged less per the actual charge time vs allotted charge time was 1/2 the norm. Rides like a champ again and good for another 130k!

Amazing exact fit. Spring diameter was the same. With the fully assembled strut it was easy to unbolt and bolt the new one in. Happy with the ride, and although the front end sits a bit higher, there is a note in the package that says to allow time for height adjustment (as it settles in). I reused the 3 nuts from the old upper strut since the ones that came with the new one had a smaller collar. I would highly recommend this product.

Having driven 4 Volvos over the years, I just replaced my first set of struts. My 2001 v70 t5 has had a squeak since I got it at 186k and it now has 219k. I finally decided to do something about it. I have watched the videos from 1A Auto and they are well done and helpful, so I did the research and ordered the TRQ struts after calling and getting informed answers to my questions. These went in smoothly, once I got the right tools together. Getting the old set out was harder than getting these in, and the second side of the car was quicker than the first. I had an alignment done the following day and the tech checked the torques and verified they were fine. The car feels great, handles tighter and certainly the squeak in gone. So far I've only driven about 100 miles, but the car is riding well and is much quieter. I will continue to look toward 1A Auto for how to's and parts when needed. Great experience.

I needed Struts for my car and found a quick strut kit for cost of struts at other sites. Arrived quickly, looks great and had sensor mount on struts instead of having to remove from old struts. Saved me a lot of time and safer than using spring compressors. Fred

Was concerned when one of the struts was delivered sticking out of the end of the broken box, but 1A customer service immediately offered replacement or credit. It didn't appear to have any significant damage, so I installed both of them and they seem to work well. Its still early, so we'll see how they last over time.

These struts are complete garbage. They are no where near as precise in engineering as a reputable brand like Bilstein. The bearing in one of my struts failed after only a few months of driving on them. I got a replacement and it clunks like crazy. The hardware that is included does not include a washer and they will dig into your strut tower (which can eventually put a bigger hole in it). I don't know if I just had a bad batch or something, but they should have been caught in quality control...

First I need address customer service: I am a tough customer, not looking for free or comp stuff but just getting what I paid for. This place was fantastic. I initially thought I was missing a few parts and they went beyond any expectations in making sure I had everything I needed ASAP. Better than five stars!! The product itself eliminated the terrible ride and bouncing tires due to worn out original struts, due to age not mileage. Finally the installation video was again beyond expectations. Another online auto parts warehouse has their own installation video, which was okay. However, 1A went as far as providing torque numbers for each bolt and supporting the wheel assembly when removing the struts, very important issues the "other guys" never mentioned. Without a question, my next auto parts order will be with 1A Auto.

I ordered these struts to replace the original struts on my 2007 S60. They look like a quality product. I did the installation myself in my garage and everything went as expected. This is a good question. I had to call the dealer to get the answer. These are going to be gas shocks. Even if you have the electric sensors they are also gas shocks.

I have an S-80 so I cannot speak to if this fits your model. I can however tell you that I originally bought my parts from Rockauto and things went poorly. When I got with A1Auto though they got me the correct parts quickly at a cheaper price. Additionally when 1 of my new struts proved to be faulty A1Auto made it right quickly. I will do business with them again.
