Exact fit, perfect function
This part was an exact fit for my 2008 Jetta, and it cost me HUNDREDS less than a genuine VW part. One thing to note, I actually had the part installed by my local auto shop (1.25 hours labor charge); the fan assembly is very tall and because it slides in through bottom of the engine bay, clearance is an issue and I couldn't safely jack my vehicle up high enough.

Excellent value
I needed to replace my condenser fan that quit working, this is just what I needed. Replacement was easy and took about 30 minutes. I could have just replaced the faulty fan motor, but for not much more
I replaced everything with a new assembly. Fit was perfect, no issues to install.

Good product, speedy delivery
Got the fan within 2 or 3 days and it fit just As the old one did. Easy to install and it was simply a plug and go device. As of now, I've had the fan in for about 2 weeks and it works great.

Works great at a great price!
Bought this to replace the fan assembly in my 2009 VW Rabbit. I had previously had an issue with the small fan not working so I changed it out and about 9 months later I had the same issue. It turned out to be the large fan that was faulty - it didn't turn on the little fan. Looking around online, I found this complete fan assembly from A1 and it was cheaper than Amazon or AutohausAZ. Very easy to install (A1 even has a video to show you how!) and it's been working great in the summer heat!

This comes with the fan motors as well?
Jesus on Aug 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. It did for me. Everything in the entire shroud including both fans with motors and the regulating sensor. It did not have the for "torx screws" that attach it to the car but you can reuse the ones on there. Very easy install. I referenced both 1aauto and YouTube.
Any idea who is the manufacturer of this part and how its quality/durability compares to the OE assembly?
Matthew C on Jun 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Most likely made in China. Fan has been on the VW for nearly 2 years no issues. Quality as good as OEM.

2006 VW Jetta Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly L5 2.5L For Models With 150 Watt Cooling Fans
How do you know if you need the 150 watt assembly or the 200 watt assembly?
Randall B on Apr 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Check the details on the description of the fan models. I have a 2.5 liter. It looks that yours is a 200. Compare the connection. Also check online for the part number. I checked the fit with the autopart store they may be able to give you a definite answer. When I changed mine it didn't give me that choice. Good luck
