Part Details

  • Quantity:   4 Piece Set

These replacement control arms & ball joints are just what you need to ensure the safety and integrity of your vehicle's suspension and steering.

Specifications:

  • 4 Piece Kit includes:
    • (2) - FRONT LOWER Control Arms - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
    • (2) - FRONT LOWER Ball Joints - LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
  • Includes mounting hardware
  • Direct replacements
  • Built to strict quality control standards

Worn ball joints can cause excessive front tire wear, popping or creaking in the front end, extra play in the steering system, and pose a serious safety concern. Replace loose or worn ball joints with our quality replacements.

One way to diagnose a loose, or warn ball joint, is to jack the car up, so the wheel is off of the ground, then have someone try to move the wheel in and out. While they are moving the wheel check the ball joint for play, if it is moving you probably need to replace it.

OUTSTANDING
I did this job about a month ago and then put the car on the road to Florida. It was about a 1300 mile round trip. I am extremely pleased with the part, price, and product. 1A Auto is the place to buy parts for all auto DIYers.

Perfect fit easy install
Passenger side was completely easy, like the how to video...diver side was a bit of challenge , you had to swing motor over 1 1/2 to get out bolt that went up against transmission pan... wish they made a video on how to do this, but all in all it took 2 hours to complete

2006 Beetle Control Arms
The parts fit 100% correct with no issues. Just be sure to take the small threaded brackets from the OE Control Arms you are removing from the car as the order only supplies the bolts to that bracket. Great parts.
