I like the look, the instructions on how to wire the stop light and the side maker light did not match my wires on my 2008 limited tundra but i spend all day and find other source of power to make it work, i love how they look. You most be handy in order to make it work. May be the instructions was for a newer model.

The product is excellent . My problems were withthe orderibg procedue. At no tine did I receive a tracking number. On my final phone call myordef wS replaced witn a new overnight order that arrved just before wehad to depart California. Excellent packing.

I installed these mirrors on my 08 Toyota Tundra. I have a Limited version so the fold feature worked on mine, plug and play. I love the large mirror surface for towing! The turn and running lights are great too! Im going to use the 1aauto video to wire up my spotlights but I dont have time in my schedule right now. These mirrors are steady with no shaking at speeds up to 75 mph on the freeway. Overall, Im impressed, great job 1aauto!

Came on time, excellent quality and perfect fit. I have a 2011 Tundra Platinum. I wired the side markers to the signal instead of daytime running lights and the spotlights to my cargo lights with an optional switch. Few hours of work

I installed these on my 2013 platinum crewmax Tundra. It was equipped with factory puddle lights and power folding mirror. Despite what 1aauto will tell you, the power fold was plug and play. Both mirrors power fold with the factory button & no additional wiring. The puddle lights also worked as is. The marker light & spot light both needed to be wired in in my application. The fit is pretty good but not perfect & the threads on 2 studs for the right mirror needed reworking. I'm happy with them & would do it again.

Yes it has all the hardware. I did not use it because my car has power folding fitted from the factory. Also included are the wires for the reversing lights

If you are referring to the puddle light feature, they are an upgrade on this kit so they will work once wired in. If your vehicle already has power folding, these mirrors come with an upgrade power fold function so they will not function properly if your original mirrors already have power folding.

Perfect timing! I am wiring in my puddle lights on my 2008 Tundra DC Limited this weekend, as well as connecting my spotlights on the mirrors. Here is how Im doing it: our problem is, the puddle lights are not getting any power from the truck through that big white connector. FIRST: verify that is true by counting the pins inside the connector on the mirrors, then counting the corresponding sockets on the truck connector. My truck connector is missing four pins and wires, so Im not putting power to the puddle lights. What is weird is, my truck had puddle lights in the bottom of the stock mirrors, but they didnt work either. I am going to wire mine in to my footwell light bulb, because it comes on when I unlock the doors with the key fob, stays on for 15-20 seconds after I shut the door. Heres my fix: I first removed the puddle light from the bottom of the mirrors, found the white and black wire that feeds those bulbs, cut the wires about two inches from the connectors. I the

Now that you have the bulbs connected, I ran mine to a power source. A good one is that light that is at the bottom of the door on the outside edge. You will have to remove that light bulb housing so that all you have is the connector to it. On my bulbs, I ran white to white, black to black. I stripped back some insulation on both of my long wires, hooked the black wire up to the black wire on the door bulb connector, hooked the white wire up to the door bulb yellow wire, and my puddle lights lit up. Now I knew they worked. I am going to wire my puddle lights into the footwell light bulb so that they work properly. I suggest that you watch the YouTube install movie located on the 1aauto website. I did watch that movie and I a used the directions to run my wires (two puddle light wires and one spotlight wire) down through the existing wires taping them as I went, then down behind the door speaker and through the boot through the door and into the truck footwell. They should be plug and play if your truck had then previously. Are you using the factory remotes? After market remotes dont trigger them. I halve after market renotes sobi wired the white side LEDs to my interior lights so they come on when the door is open or the truck is unlocked. Way better than the puddle lights anyways.

I entered two answers to this question, but the websites posts them up in the incorrect order. You'll have to figure out which one is first and second. By the way David R, you will need to remove the door panels and start over, in case you are buttoned up. I installed mine when I first got them and decided to save the spotlight and puddle light wiring until later, which is this weekend. That YouTube video is a huge help! The title is "How to Install Trail Ridge Tow Mirrors 14-18 Toyota Tundra" since this website will now allow you to paste in the actual hyperlink.

These mirrors are only correct if you are upgrading to power folding. If your OE mirrors have power fold, these will not work.

My 2008 Tundra has auto folding mirrors, defrost, and turn signal. I want to switch regular side mirrors with these tow mirrors. Will all my existing auto functions like the folding mirrors still work with factory installed switches inside the truck?

If the original mirrors have the folding and defrost, they will work with the replacement mirrors. If the replacement mirrors have functions NOT on the originals, there are connections included with the mirrors and instructions for hooking up the clearance lights, puddle lights (if included), turn signals, etc. Unless specified, Blind Spot Detection is not included in the aftermarket mirrors. I currently run these on my 2017 Tundra and have had no issues. I have not hooked up the Backup LED's at this point.

For my 2014 Tundra, the factory wiring and switches worked perfectly. The only thing that needs to be wired is the puddle light, if you want that to work.
