Part Details

  • Quantity:   4 Piece Set

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Pre-Assembled

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

My new favorite auto parts store
Product was quality at a great price and shipping was fast. Will check first with 1A for all parts. Installation videos are the best. The only thing Id add is videos on tips of how to get old parts off. Ex: i had to use a torch and needle nose vice grips to remove sway bar from old shocks.

Great struts!
Would be 5 stars if the rear mounting bolts were factory length. I like the product and do not regret the purchase at all. Installation of the front was a breeze with a good set of tools, a lift, and some sense. The back was straight forward and simple for the most part but the mounting bolts located in the interior of the car at the top of the strut assembly were a little longer than the factory ones which made it a little more difficult and time consuming because of the limited space to work with but I managed to get them tightened and then took a trip from Tupelo, ms to panama, Florida. At first they were very rigid which I expected but by the time I made it home to Tupelo after a week in Florida they seemed to be much more forgiving with a smoother ride but still very supportive. These struts made my car handle like a new one and its a 1998 Camry, if they last I would definitely recommend 1aauto full strut assemblies to anyone who needs struts and wants to do it themselves or even if they have someone to install them for them. For the price of this full assembly I am 100% satisfied especially when compared to a full assembly of oem struts from Toyota which would have been more than $800 in parts alone.

If these guys sold shoes...
This is my second order with these guys. I purchased front and rear struts for my car some months ago...perfect. ordered the same for my wifes car, and installed them yesterday. They were again, perfect. It went so well, I timed myself...from hubcap off to hubcap on, I did a front in twenty minutes. If these guys sold shoes, I would buy them without concern for them being the wrong size, color, or style. Thanks again for a job easily done. I can recommend, and will order in the future.

1998 Camry strut spring assembly
I installed all 4 assemblies in 4 hours. The video was very helpful. Great improvement to handling and stance. Took about a week for springs to settle in, but now the car sits about 2 inches higher than the tired old ones and doesnt feel like its wallowing or bottomed out all the time. Wish Id done it years before.

Awesome Experience
The parts were exactly like the factory parts went together easy and well. Prices were great the online videos were so helpful and it saved me $500 from taking it somewhere. Struts are one of those things that you can let slide but it is hard on the rest of the car. My Solara rides like a new car.

Great so far
Product has performed great so far. Easy to install and price is un beatable! Packagaging was a bit rough when I got it but I dont know if that was supplier or shipper. As stated before these are very easy to install as a complete unit, very convenient. Highly recommended.

Toyota Camry Struts
I recently purchased a set of struts for my 97 Camry from another seller on Ebay. When they arrived I quickly found out that they were the wrong parts! I phoned customer service to see if they would replace them with the right parts. Instead, the customer service rep argued that the parts they sent were the right ones! How frustrating, that a guy sitting in front of a computer screen is gonna tell a guy who turned wrenches for 40 plus years that Im doing something wrong! I then requested a refund and they complied. I recalled a video on You tube from 1A Auto on replacing struts on my type of car. So I purchased a set (Front and Rear) from 1A and they were the right ones! They went in easy enough and no complications! I should have trusted 1A Auto from the "get go", I paid a few bucks more but it was totally worth it! Larry

Perfect fit
My order arrive three days earlier than excepted, They were a perfect fit everything went together just as it should. The ride seems to be a little stiff right now only because I think I was so accustom to the worn out struts. Overall very good.

Do not buy it
Just after a couple months on the roads the struts started to squeak. They are Chinese made and don’t last very long. Annoyed and frustrated coz I spent a lot of time on installing them and now they are just like my old ones. DO NOT PURCHASE THEM

Toyota struts
Very easy installation. No issues and my car suspension was like new. Wish I would have done this a couple years earlier.

Struts
Ordered the struts for my car online hoping I would have no issues and I didn’t. Struts were identical to the stock ones. I have to say they work very well for the price. Loved the price and I’m loving the feel of the ride.

Struts and drums for 1997 Toyota Camry
It was a good price and my person who installed the products was happy that it came altogether. He said it was easy to put the struts on. He had my car put back together in 4hrs....

Can’t go wrong.
I’m new to home DIY mechanic work. But with help from 1AAuto videos I was able to fit all four assemblies to my 1999 Toyota Solara perfectly. The only trouble I had was removing the rusty sway bar links from my old assemblies (New York salt), which proved to be impossible, so I had to trash them. I also ordered the set of four sway bar links from 1A. I haven’t found another place that can beat 1A’s prices. Everything is solid. Everything was clean. I would buy these again, but I probably won’t have to because they will last the rest of the life of the car.

Rides like new.
The struts I received from 1A Auto were a perfect fit. The car rides like new and handles my 2-hour commute both ways to and from work like a dream. They installed easily and 1A Auto has instructional videos on their website to help with any questions during the process. The price was SUPER reasonable and I was a little skeptical at first due to the "you get what you pay for" fact nowadays, but I would (and will) highly recommend 1A Auto to friends and family for parts purchase.

Strut & spring assembly for Toyota Camry
I was super impressed with 1A-Auto for the following reasons, 1. the online cost was the best deal! 2. shipping was free! 3. I received the strut & spring 4 peace set in 3 days! 4. The online video totally helped! 5. I was able to replace all four strut & spring assemblys myself on a Saturday. Local repair shops wanted about $600 in labor to install all four. I was able to use that money saved for new tires. and still had some money left over to take my wife out for Mothers Day. Thank you 1A-Auto. JR McDonald

The Struts fits perfectly!!
Purchased these set of struts for my old Toyota Camry 1999 and they do fit perfectly, Im not a mechanic but I just want to save on labor cost so I decided to DIY. I can say that anyone who is comfortable handling tools and brave enough try doing it will find it very easy to install them. I managed to do it about a day and a half but Im sure some people can so it in a day. First time for me and I did my research on the installation and with great help from the video on your website it made it look easier to do it myself. Thanks to you my old Camry runs like new.

Quality struts
Struts matched exact specs of original struts. Easily fit to vehicle and no assembly required. Car rides and performs far better with these - definitely recommend to anyone.

Will these assemblies fit on a 1998 Toyota Camry LE V6?
Andrew K September 14, 2017
No, these will only fit the 2.2L 4 cylinder models only.
Tim K September 14, 2017
Quick couple of question on this item (1999 Toyota Camry Front & Rear Strut & Spring Assembly 4 Piece Set L4 2.2L): 1) The website does not list the manufacturer / company - is it 1aautos house brand? Whats the warranty - is it still limited lifetime warranty? 2) Some of the reviews (not on this site) indicate that after market struts & spring assembly raises the normal ride height of the vehicle. I understand there will be some difference between worn out struts/springs and the new ones but does it cause any driving issues?
Mos S July 20, 2018
Hello! This kit is manufactured by us, yes. It has the limited lifetime warranty as well, should it fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use. The difference in height is mostly due to original struts sagging over time, becoming worn out. There is a slight break in period but it should not heighten the vehicle above what it was originally out of the factory. I hope this information helps.
Peter M July 20, 2018
Cant say on the brand but the ride height is definitely an improvement. It did not change the driving of the car at all. If anything it made it drive and handle better.
Kyle B July 20, 2018
I don’t know the answer to the first question, but I’m 2 years in on my struts and they are still doing great. I do notice that they are stiff when it gets really cold outside, bumps feel more severe to me below 20 F. I did notice an appreciable gain in approach angle after switching my worn out ones for these. Entering and leaving parking lots and such is now a ton easier. Also my tires are wearing much more evenly with the new struts.
Casey T July 21, 2018
1) Not sure who manufactures them, but it matched the stock ones to my 99 Camry. As far as warranty, you may want to call or email 1AAuto. 2) yes, after installing new struts on my 99Camry, the ride height did go up some. From what I know, you need to give them some time to adjust and settle.
