Please Note: Whenever replacing steering components, it is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed on the vehicle afterwards.  Failure to do so may result in issues with steering and premature tire wear.

This item is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser.

  1. step : Remove the Wheel (1:59)
    • Pull off the center cap
    • Loosen the lug nuts
    • Remove the cotter pin and loosen the 35mm hub nut
    • Loosen the seven 13mm 12-point bolts that hold the axle to the front drive
    • Raise and secure the car
    • Remove the wheel
  2. step : Loosen the Torsion Bar (2:54)
    • Spray the torsion bar with spray paint and loosen the torsion bar tension bolt with an 18mm bolt
  3. step : Remove the Tie Rod (3:45)
    • Use a pair of pliers to remove the cotter pin
    • Remove the nut at the end of the tie rod
    • Use a tie rod puller to separate the tie rod
  4. step : Remove the stabilizer links (5:25)
    • Use a 9/16 wrench to secure the bottom and a 14 mm socket to unbolt the stabilizer link
    • Use a hammer and punch to remove the stabilizer link
  5. step : Pull the Axle from the CV Joint (6:52)
    • Unbolt the seven bolts, using a pry bar to keep the hub from rotating
    • Remove the hub nut using a 35 mm socket
    • Give the axle a tap with a hammer and pull the axle out
  6. step : Remove the Ball Joint (9:00)
    • Use a jack and wood plank or two to lift the control arm and relieve tension from the ball joint
    • Unbolt the the ball joint using a breaker bar and 27mm socket
    • Use a ball joint removal tool to pull the ball joint apart
    • With a ball joint press, remove the ball joint completely
    • See Part Two for reassembly

GOT ONE PART WORNG
GOT 1 PART WRONG and 3 were very lose and 1 had no grease fitting or a place to put one SO I COULD ONLY DO ONE SIDE !! needed right hand thread on drivers side

Great
Had to redo my tie rods after not being able to get an alignment. Tire store wanted 500$ to do the repair. Bought these and did it myself in less than 2 hours. I’ve never done this before and their videos and site made it easy. Saved a couple hundered bucks too.

Tie rod ends inner and outer
Tie rod ends seem fine but the adjustment nuts which come included aren’t worth using. I used my old ones and still had to tig weld one to keep it in place after having front end aligned. Overall they saved me hundreds.

1ASTE00132 are the outers, and appear to be longer than the inners!
