Please Note: Whenever replacing steering components, it is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed on the vehicle afterwards.  Failure to do so may result in issues with steering and premature tire wear.

This item is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser. Please keep your invoice for proof of this warranty.

  1. step : Remove the wheels (1:00)
    • Loosen the lug nuts
    • Raise and secure the vehicle
    • Remove the wheel
  2. step : Remove the tie rod (1:32)
    • Mark the alignment on the tie rod with a sharpie.
    • Use two wrenches to loosen up the tie rod nut.
    • Remove the cotter pin and remove the 16 mm nut.
    • Use a tie rod puller to pry out the tie rod.
    • Unscrew the tie rod.
  3. step : Install the new tie rod (4:05)
    • Adjust the new locking nut to the same spot that the old one was (where you made your mark)
    • Screw in the new tie rod.
    • Install the cotter pin and bolt on the 17mm nut.
    • Install the cotterpin.
    • Use a grease gun to fill the joint.
  4. step : Replace the wheel (7:15)
    • Put the wheel on and hand tighten the lug nuts
    • Lower the car and torque the lug nuts to 80 ft lbs.
