Vehicle Fit

Part Details

  • Quantity:   Pair

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Pre-Assembled

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

lots of noise
Purchased these plus rear as a set. They ride fine but are noisy. There is constant low squeak/moan. Apparently the seal is chattering on the shaft. Thought it might go away after a few thousand miles but not so. Cannot recommend them. Am currently looking to replace them. Not from 1-A Bill Souther

Great Deal for PAIR of Front Struts
These are heavy and well made for a great price. Plus, FREE SHIPPING - wow. Follow the videos for how -to guidance on replacing. Our SUV front struts took quite a bit longer than the video estimates to replace due to rusted on bolts. Once the rusted bolts and worn struts were removed, the new ones were replaced easily. Our SUV drives like new, no alignment was needed. Order was shipped very quickly. I highly recommend 1A Auto for help, parts, and great service.

Easy install
I’ve had the struts and brakes on the front of my 09 Ford Escape for about a month. Everything sounds good. Much easier riff than before. Shipping was prompt.

They fit and work just fine!
Ordered these and installed them on a 2008 Ford Escape Limited which had 130,000 mi. on it and the suspension was very worn out. Didnt want to purchase top-notch suspension components for a vehicle that may get sold/traded a year from now. These went in easy and are a huge improvement in handling and ride quality. I would not hesitate to buy these again for another vehicle. I can find nothing wrong with these at all. A1 Auto shipped quickly and the packaging was nice. I am totally satisfied.

Replaced old worn out struts
I ordered and received them quickly. Packaged nicely couldn’t believe how heavy they were. I watched the tutorial video before I performed the change. I changed them out with basic tools, jack and jack stand. Thought it would take a while but an hour and a half later I was done. Direct fit replacement. Will order the shocks soon.
