Please Note: Whenever replacing steering components, it is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed on the vehicle afterwards.  Failure to do so may result in issues with steering and premature tire wear.

  1. step : Removing the Wheel (1:17)
    • Loosen the lug nuts with the vehicle on the ground
    • Raise the vehicle with a floor jack
    • Secure the vehicle on jack stands
    • Pull off the hub cap
    • Remove the lug nuts
    • Pull off the wheel
  2. step : Removing the Sway Bar Links (2:52)
    • Grab the backside of the joint with locking pliers
    • Remove the 14mm nut from the sway bar link
    • Repeat the process for the lower end
  3. step : Installing the New Sway Bar Links (5:34)
    • Insert the lower end of the sway bar link into place
    • Start the 14mm nuts
    • Torque the sway bar link nuts to 29 foot-pounds
  4. step : Reattaching the Wheel (6:30)
    • Slide the wheel into place
    • Start the lug nuts by hand
    • Tighten the lug nuts preliminarily
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts 76 foot-pounds in a crossing or star pattern
    • Reattach the center cap
