Be prepared...
Great kit for replacing your front end suspension for the price and I would highly recommend this treatment.

When I ordered this kit for my 2009 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI 2WD Crew Cab, I originally thought the need to replace all my balljoints and tie rods because my alignment was going out almost every 6 months since it was always steering to the right (passenger/curbside). Also while coming up on left hand turns into my driveway or entrances to a gas stations, the right side (passenger/curbside) would drop more and make a clunk/rubbing sound. Upon further inspection, it just happened to be that the passenger front shock (AutoZone Just-A-Shock brand) was dented and collapsed, I don't know how that happened since I baby my truck. I had dropped the suspension height using a 2"/4" Belltech drop kit and the kit came with the Nitro 2 Drop Shocks, so as I swapped the shocks, I decided to swap out the whole front end.

Notice the title 'Be Prepared" because I wasn't and a minor set back. The Front Lower Control Arm Balljoints on my model year truck is one whole unit meaning it's built-in/welded-in and had to replace the whole Lower Control Arm with one that is open-ended and with a pressed balljoint. The Haynes manual will say that on some models, the balljoints are pressed and on others it's welded. I highly advise y'all to check your Low Control Arms since this kit only comes with just the balljoint. I ended up going to O'Reilly's for a complete set of Lower Control Arms and I spent more $ on those pair of Control Arm than I did on this kit. After that set back, installing the rest of the kit was easy and I ended up completing both sides in a day. I suggest measuring your Tie Rods versus counting threads, you get more threads from the Tie Rod in this kit versus the OEM you're replacing. After install is complete, it's recommended to make an appointment to get an alignment. Even if you've done everything right and replaced it the same way you found it, you're still going to be out of range. I know I couldn't go passed 30-35 mph without my front tires squealing like nails on glass. The OEM does not come so you're kind of 50-50, good/bad on maintaining them. This kit comes with everything you need and more for added protection on keeping your work tight like castle nuts, cotter pins, grease and grease inserts. Now my truck rides on ice, smooth
