Please Note: Whenever replacing steering components, it is highly recommended to have a professional alignment performed on the vehicle afterwards.  Failure to do so may result in issues with steering and premature tire wear.

  1. step : Removing the Wheel (1:06)
    • Loosen the lug nut covers with a 19mm socket
    • Pull off the center cap
    • Loosen the lug nuts with the vehicle on the ground
    • Raise the vehicle with a floor jack
    • Secure the vehicle on jack stands
    • Remove the lug nuts
    • Pull off the wheel
  2. step : Removing the Stabilizer Link (1:31)
    • Hold the upper stabilizer link stud with an 18mm inch wrench
    • Apply penetrating oil to the stabilizer link nuts
    • Remove the upper nut from the stabilizer link with an 18mm socket and ratchet
    • Support the stabilizer link with a jack
    • Hold the lower stabilizer link stud with a 18mm inch wrench
    • Remove the lower nut from the stabilizer link with an 18mm socket and breaker bar
    • Pull off the stabilizer link
  3. step : Installing the New Stabilizer Link (3:48)
    • Push the new stabilizer link into place
    • Start the 19mm nuts onto the new stabilizer link
    • Tighten the 19mm nuts to between 45 - 50 foot-pounds of torque
  4. step : Reattaching the Wheel (4:12)
    • Slide the wheel into place
    • Start the lug nuts by hand
    • Tighten the lug nuts preliminarily
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts to 100 foot-pounds in a crossing or star pattern
    • Reattach the center cap
    • Tighten the lug nut covers with a 19mm socket

How long is the limited lifetime warranty?

Will a 2005 ball bolt up to 2004 ball joints and suspension parts?

BEST ANSWER: There will be a slight difference in the parts between 2004 and 2005 models. The parts in this kit will not bolt up directly.
Will this fit a 07 Cobalt LT? I don't know if i have the FE1 soft ride suspension, so how can i tell if itll fit?

BEST ANSWER: FE1 is an RPO code. You can call the dealer parts department with your VIN and ask them to ID that for you.
