USED THESE SPARK PLUGS WHEN I TUNED UP A 1996 FORD BRONCO WITH A 5.8 L (H) ENGINE ,SPEC'S CALLED FOR THE GAP TO BE .042-.046.FOR THIS PARTICULAR ENGINE. GAP MAY BE DIIFERENT FOR A DIFFERENT TYPE ENGINE.

Platinum plugs come pre-gapped, however it is always best practice to check the gap before installing. Gap will vary slightly depending on what engine the vehicle has, be sure to check your owners or service manual for the specific gap setting.
