In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Direct Fit

Direct fit replacement; not only will the part fit correctly, but it will function correctly.  Many competitors combine applications to cut down on the amount of parts they have to carry. This can result in the following issues: incorrect vehicle height, poor response and an uncomfortable ride.

Rigorously Tested

Rigorously tested and made from higher quality materials than the competition. Our parts are built to have a longer life in any environment or road conditions.

Pre-Assembled

Pre-assembled, loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than replacing with just bare struts.

Trouble-Free Install

Trouble-free install includes the matched parts needed to get the job done. New mounts, bearings, springs and hardware will provide a better ride for your vehicle and save you time from not having to do the job again because a used part failed afterwards.

Matched Parts

When you buy the kit pre-built by us, you can be sure that the parts are matched for optimum performance.  Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same, so mixing and matching can result in fit issues and potentially decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

When you buy one of our kits, you not only save money over buying the parts individually, but you also save time having to search for all of the different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Lifetime Warranty

This item is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser. Please keep your invoice for proof of this warranty.

Shock and strut kit '09 Yukon XL
Installation was straightforward and 1A Auto's videos are very helpful. After installing struts in front and shocks in back, my Yukon's front end sits higher than the back. Even after more than 10,000 miles it still is hugh in the front.

Best value
Perfect fit, easy to install. Fronts go on easily given you detach the control arm, rears go on easily, just need to support rear axle with jack or stands when removing old shocks. Didnt want to mess with a spring compressor

Excellent in every way
Shipping was adequate. The price was unbeatable. The shocks and struts were high quality and came as advertised. Easy installation and the tool list and how-to videos were appreciated. Highly recommend 1aauto for these and any other parts that you might need.

Great replacement for lower price!
Shocks were very easy to install with the Youtube video that is on the product page. Very useful and even better as a company to put that information out for free. The kit was great and fit my 2008 Tahoe perfectly. It does take a little bit for the front struts to settle to get to normal ride height, but that is fine. These were almost $200 cheaper than anything else I could get for all 4 corners of my Tahoe! I will be back to buy other items for my cars in the future and recommend this company to anyone that that to complete the work themselves and save money.

A1 is the best!
Honestly though I’ve never called a company with better customer support. They took care of my issues without any hesitation. Shocks felt nice and ride smooth struts weren’t aligned right out the box but that’s easy bolt the top and take a pipe wrench to the bottom. They did ride a little higher but all in all great product and service.

Fast Shipping and easy install!
Recieved parts 2 days after purchase. Install was straight forward. Only issue I had was on one strut the shock mount wouldn't line up, was off about 1/4". Had to use a spring compressor and loosen shock to re-adjust. Front height is a little higher, but that is to be expected until everything settles. Will be buying parts from 1aauto in the future for sure!

Good Quality But Wrong Height
Ordered for my 2007 Avalanche after changing struts and shocks the height changed causing my stablizing and traction control lights come on and can't correct. Auto shop can't reset ECM to turn off. I have to live with it I guess. Good quality but wrong height, not OE standard. Sad because parts looked fine. Paid less for struts and shocks plus labor but paid more in long run with lights being on dash all the time. Would not purchase again.
