In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Direct Fit

Fits and functions correctly.  Competitors combine applications to reduce the amount of parts they carry, resulting in: incorrect vehicle height, poor response and an uncomfortable ride.

Rigorously Tested

Made from higher quality materials than the competition. Built to have a longer life in any environment or road conditions.

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

my son's car
My son and I installed the Frt strut assemblies, Frt sway bar links and rear shocks on his 2002 Ford Escape. The parts were delivered faster than expected and packaged so that there was no damage of any kind to any of the parts. The price was the best I found online. They fit perfectly and we had them installed in no time at all. Bets part was i got to spend quality one on one time with my son who came home from college so that we could do this. I had used 1A Auto before and that's why I used them again and will continue to use their products.

Great price. Good product.
Price is well below brick & mortars. Welded nut for the brake line mount broke off at the slightest pressure. Since it is a square instead of normal nut, and due to the weld spots, it was difficult to tighten. Managed to get it snug, but not sure tight enough.

How do these shocks and struts compare to Monroe shocks technology?
Calkid49 on Apr 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I couldn't tell you how they compare to Monroe but they are good. Easy installation. Have had them for 40k so far and still good. Put a lot of weight in my car with no issues.
Does this set need a spring compressor?
CoGordo on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No if you use a floor jack or if the car is on a lift use a transmission jack to keep to load off the springs once the lower bolts are out slowly lower the jack once the spring is lose on the bottom then you can loosen the top bolts
