In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut

Installed on Armada 4x4
Easy installation because it was loaded assembly. Good price, and so far after a week of installation seems to be holding good. My only issue is when compared to original shocks, the lower eye ring hole is not as beefy. The metal ring hole is almost half the width of the original shocks ring. I am afraid they will break if I go off road. But I measured the weight, and noticed those new ones were 2.2 pound heavier than the original, so hopefully they hold well on the dirt roads.

Perfect fit for my 2009 Armada
I installed these on my 09 Armada this weekend. The install was smooth. It's so nice to buy the loaded assembly and not have to worry about spring compressors. The assemblies that I took of were so shot that these feel like a dream. It does seem a little bouncy though, but I'll let them settle in and see how it goes. Can't beat the price or the service provided by 1A auto.

Front struts
These struts are for a 4wd Titan not a 2wd drive as of mine ride is too stiff but not a fault of A1Auto they are doing a refund plus shipping back to them. The MFG. is at fault.

Leacree worse struts made
Now I know why the name brand of theses struts are not listed on the website. Would not recommend these struts to anyone..I will be returning and going with Monroe. They turned out to be Leacree struts made in China.. The ride is horrible, loud, bounces, bottoms out going over speed bumps...etc.. However everone at 1A Auto have been great.

Will this fit with a leveling kit?
Trevor S on Sep 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, these are simply factory replacements.
are these for a 4x4?
Jason W on Nov 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I bought these for my 07 4x4 Titan and they were a direct replacement
After installing the shock & Spring assembly on both sides, I noticed that my truck is definitely raised in the front. Is this normal? Does it level out?
Daniel O on Jan 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: After a while of driving with the new strut and spring assemblies installed the front of your vehicle should drop to regular height. The reason for this is that the new coil springs need time to level out with the vehicle weight applied and tighten up for a lower overall height.
