NOTE: For Audi A4 & VW Passat models, the belt fits the Fan, Alternator, Power Steering, & Tension Pulleys. For Mitsubishi Lancer models, the belt fits the AC Compressor & Power Steering Pulleys. For Toyota Supra models, the belt fits the Fan & Alternator Pulleys.

Wear and Tear

This item is backed by a 60-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under its intended use. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. 

  1. step : Removing the A/C Compressor Belt (0:47)
    • Raise and secure the vehicle
    • Loosen the two 6mm Allen bolts in the tensioner
    • Push the tensioner up
    • Pull off the A/C compressor belt
  2. step : Removing the Serpentine Belt (3:24)
    • Attach a 17mm wrench to the tensioner
    • Pull on the tensioner to loosen the belt
    • Pull the belt off
    • Remove the belt from underneath the vehicle
  3. step : Installing the New Serpentine Belt (4:13)
    • Loop the belt onto the power steering pump
    • Feed the belt toward the top of the engine
    • Pull the belt around the crank pulley
    • Pull the belt in front of the tensioner
  4. step : Installing the New A/C Compressor Belt (7:29)
    • Loop the belt around the crank pulley
    • Pull the belt around the A/C compressor
    • Pull the belt onto the tensioner
    • Attach a 17mm socket to the tensioner
    • Start tightening the 6mm Allen bolt
    • Turn the tensioner to tighten the belt with the 17mm socket
    • Release the tensioner
    • Tighten the two 6mm Allen bolts
  5. step : Routing the Serpentine Belt (9:55)
    • Turn the tensioner with a 17mm wrench
    • Pull the serpentine belt on to the alternator
    • Release the tensioner
    • Check that the belt is routed correctly
