Installed this fuel pump with fuel sending unit on my 2014 dodge ram with a 5.7 hemi. Works perfectly and my fuel gauge works again. didnt need to take it the dodge garage to have the computer reset. My computer reset the check engine light as soon as I turned the key on.

I had the first fuel pump installed by a very respected shop for $178 dollars. Only took them an hour to change. The new pump worked great for about one month and the check valve failed on it allowing the fuel to drain from the fuel rail back into the tank making it very hard for the truck to start. I called and they sent me another one for free. I again went to the same shop and paid another $178 dollars to have the second fuel pump installed to just have it fail just like the first one did just one week after it was installed.This second fuel pump also has a very high pitch tone. I am now out $356 dollars plus the price of the fuel pump.

This pump worked for about 6 months and then the check valve failed, allowing the fuel to drain back into the tank, so when I turn the key it just turns over until it pumps the gas back up enough for the truck to start and it has a high pitch whistle. I called 1A and they sent me another pump under the warranty. I paid my mechanic another $133 dollars to have this replacement pump installed and one week later it's doing the same exact thing. It has now cost me $366 dollars plus the price of a new fuel pump. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Dealer gave me a quote of $700 just to drop tank and determine problem. This was a better price for whole assembly
