  1. step : Remove door panel. (0:55)
    • For more detailed instructions see our other videos.
  2. step : Remove water shield. (1:52)
    • Carefully remove the water shield.
    • Take care not to rip it, as it keeps water from getting into your door.
  3. step : Unbolt Regulator (2:46)
    • Plug your power windows back in and tape it up.
    • Lift up the window and tape it up out of the way.
    • Remove the bolts with your wrench or socket and ratchet.
    • Loosen up your wiring harness.
    • Feed your harness in and it comes right out.
    • Take out the motor first and then the regulator.
  4. step : Install the new regulator (4:10)
    • Attach the new motor to the regulator using the bolts that came with it.
    • Replace the regulator and motor back into their original positions, regulator first.
    • Feed the harness back through.
    • Bolt the track back in.
    • Tighten the regulator bolts and your power window motor bolts.
  5. step : Test (6:30)
    • Test the to make sure the wiring is hooked up correctly.
    • Untape and attach the window.
    • Test again to make sure the window isn’t straining and everything works.
  6. step : Re-assemble (7:38)
    • Replace the water shield.
    • Reassemble the door panel.
