Years ago I had lost the parking brake function on my Suburban. In fact, upon disassembly, I discovered most of the original hardware components had perished within the rear brake disc/drum assembly. The hardware kit I purchased from 1A was exactly what I needed to complete the parking brake shoe replacement, money well spent. Thanks again 1A!

Easy to install and works perfectly. Of course it takes time and a few adjustments to get working properly.

The new part in the kit are an exact match of the original equipment parts. The kit even came with a packet of white lithium grease for lubrication. I didn't have to add anything or modify any of the parts to get them to fit. And best of all, 1A Auto's video showed me step-by-step exactly how to install the new parts...from the 1st step (removing the wheel lug nuts) to the last step (putting the lug nuts back on and torqueing them). 1A Auto's video and other companies' videos and instructions tell us to adjust the parking brake until the shoes just begin to rub on the drum. I did that, but shoes did not provide sufficient pressure to keep the vehicle from moving once I pressed the parking brake pedal. I suggest that you adjust the shoes, install the rotors, apply the parking brake, and then try to rotate the rotors (with a lever, not just your hands). If you can rotate the rotor, then remove the rotor and adjust the shoes further out. Keep doing that until the rotors won't turn
