Eneed up seeing I had another 10 pounds of oil pressure after installing this new pressure switch. I checked my pressure with a gauge and this new switch was within a couple pounds. Very happy with it

What is the difference between a oil pressure sending unit and and oil pressure switch? Both same the same, look alike and different price. I have an actual guage reading the psi for oil so which do I need?

oil pressure sending unit is for when you have a gauge it gives real time psi readings from idle thru acceleration. oil pressure switch is for when you only have a light, when oil psi drops below normal operating psi the switch is tripped activating the light to come on to warn of a problem.
