I replaced all 4 sensor on my Xterra, and these are not marked as to where to place them. Wires were different length than factory. only thing I had to go on was the connectet color. And out of 4 sensors, one is still throwing a code.

Usually, oxygen sensor will not affect performance. It will, however negatively and significantly affect fuel consumption, because the car's computer will not allow optimal leaning of mixture if the O2 sensor is defective.

A bad o2 sensor can cause a loss of HP, poor acceleration, back firing, misfiring, and can potentially blow up a muffler.

We are unable to diagnose any issues with the vehicle. The easiest way to determine the issue would to be to take a scan tool and check to see what codes come up.

How would I know if this part is for Bank 1?
February 18, 2022
Doug M

bank 1 is your upstream sensor so if its for upstream it might work some of the upstream sensors are different because they are air fuel ratio sensors they look the same but are very different than normal o2 sensors and cost more
