  1. step : Clearing the Fuel Lines (0:25)
    • Open the fuse box
    • Remove the 15 amp fuse for the fuse pump
    • Run the car until the vehicle stalls
    • If the vehicle doesn't start, crank it a few times
  2. step : Disconnecting the Battery (1:25)
    • Remove the negative battery terminal with a 10mm wrench
  3. step : Removing the Back Seat (1:35)
    • Open the gas door
    • Open the fuel cap to release fuel tank pressure
    • Buckle the seat belts
    • Pull the latches to release the seat
    • Lift the seat out
  4. step : Removing the Fuel Pump Sending Unit (2:22)
    • Remove the Phillips head clips from the sending unit cover
    • Disconnect the electrical connector
    • Place the cover aside
    • Clean debris and dirt from around the pump
    • Squeeze the tabs and unlock the fuel line
    • Remove the six Phillips head screws from around the fuel sending unit
    • Remove the bracket from the fuel pump
    • Lift the pump up and out
  5. step : Installing the Fuel Pump Sending Unit (7:40)
    • Remove the cap from the new unit
    • Transfer the green clip from the old unit to the new unit
    • Remove the packaging from the gauge
    • Feed the fuel sending unit into the gas tank
    • Place the bracket into place
    • Tighten the Phillips screws to the bracket in a cross pattern
    • Lock the fuel line
    • Connect the connector
    • Press the cap on
    • Tighten the clips to the cover
  6. step : Installing the Back Seat (8:40)
    • Insert the back seat into the tabs
    • Press the seat in
    • Reinstall the gas cap
  7. step : Connecting the Battery (12:55)
    • Connect the 15 am fuse
    • Replace the fuse panel cover
    • Tighten the 10mm bolt to the negative terminal
  8. step : Priming the Fuel Line (13:22)
    • Turn the key to the ON position to cycle the pump
    • Start the vehicle - make take a few times to build up pressure
