NOT PLUG AND PLAY
If you are looking for a mirror that you can plug in and run this is not your mirror. 1st the power fold is not wired into the main harness so even if you have power fold on your truck this option will not work until you wire it in. If you look at the pictures the little 2 wire plug to the side is the power fold plug. You will either have to cut the factory wires on your door or find the terminated ends that will plug into the block position 4 and 18. I do not understand why they could not have done the same thing they did for the other options 2nd Mirror memory will not work. I do not care as much about this as I did the power fold. 3rd make sure if you have a diesel you connect the temp sensor in the chrome cover before you start your truck or you will get a check engine light and a trip to the dealership. On my 2015 Silverado 2500 Duramax LTZ Z71 the clearance lights took the duty of the puddle light not a big deal to me just hoped it would work as designed. I have found there is a few places that will update your wiring to make everything function as it should minus the mirror memory but I do not know what the cost is but I think it is worth finding out. If I was not getting ready to take a big trip I would have sent them back. For the price I paid I would have liked to have the power fold be wired as everything else was. The mirrors are good looking and great quality - the wiring.

2017 silverado 2500 tow mirrors
Very nice product mirrors have every option but they could of been made better instead of separate wiring for power fold should have been built in to harness and put in pins 4&18 blue to pin 4 and yellow to pin 18 but you still have to get GM wiring harnesses to have every function work I just modified my factory harness overall good product for price thanks for everything

Installed these on my 2016 Sierra 2500HD diesel but when I put the truck in reverse the led spotlights do not work. Is there a trick to this?
Sean H on Feb 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: On the loose 2 pin plug on the mirror there will be a yellow and a orange wire. In order to ensure that the spotlight turns on when putting the vehicle in reverse, the yellow wire must be spliced or tapped into the reverse lamp circuit.
Can these mirrors be manually folded even though they are power folding mirrors?
Bald91 on Nov 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You may fold them in manually, but it is not recommended. Manually folding in these mirrors could damage the power folding motor and/or gears.
