I did not have the tools to take the door panels lose so I took my truck to a friend that has a body shop he had them change in 30 minuets he did not say that they were any different than factory

No they are not you have to extend and fold them by hand. And the lights are not directional just running lights

No they do not and if you get the model with blinkers it will not work unless you have the wiring harness already won a auto does not or will not share the wiring diagram with it when I called

The turn signals are on the side encased in plastic, not in the mirror itself.

How would I go about getting the side running lights to work? My stock 2500hd mirrors are the small sized mirror with heat and power only.

Since these are made to be a plug-and-play application, you would have to wire them up to get those features to work. We do not have any instructions on how to do this, and would be considered a custom application.

I purchased these for my 15 silverado 1500. My oem mirrors didnt have the turn signal option. Do you sell the wiring harness to make the smoked turn signal lens illuminate and work properly? Thanks
