just break out the damaged glass and remove one screw and replace backing plate and attach new glass. super easy and perfect replacement for broken spotter glass.

We broke the original mirror trying to remove it to paint the mirror housing, while stock mirrors are held on with a pivot ball this one is held on with a screw behind the the mirror glass. Stupid design because if the LED blinker ever goes out youre replacing a mirror as well. Replacement fits and works though.

Super easy to install. Came with all the stuff you need. My only issue was it was about 10 degrees when I tried to stick the mirror on so it took a little while for it to bond good.

When I watched the video it said some mirrors you could must pull out and some you have to brake the center of the mirror out. I figured in stead of pulling it I would break the center out first to see which one I had. Unscrewed the screw took the old one. Screwed the new one back in, put on the double sided tape. Looks good as new. Have had on for over a month. Could be happier. Thanks

Had ordered another mirror replacement that was incorrect from a different site. This one was what I needed. Worked perfectly and the 3M adhesive strip for the mirror was an easy, instant seal. Thanks A1!

I had my mirror fall off and was not sure how it was secured on etc. I got the mirror in the box and it was much easier to install than I expected. 15 minutes and I was done. Had problems with part snapping into frame of mirror body where the screw and what I call spider washers which allows you to adjust mirror. Could never get it to snap or pop into to hold mirror backing

Great customer service in getting me the correct part. Only problem I had was I originally ordered the wrong side and purchased that wrong piece as a result it took 3-5 business days to get my money back from that wrong order. Besides that it was a great experience and the part was exactly what was needed.

everything needed comes with this product. easy to install frame and the adhesive is on the back of the mirror lens. peel and stick it on the frame and you're done.

No, Otis not mounted to the backing plate. It comes with double sided tape to attach it to the backing plate.

After removing (breaking) the old mirror there is a screen that holds it on, remove and install the new plastic housing-then remove adhesive and stick the new mirror on.

Start by removing the old glass first if its not off already. Install the frame per the instructions (really easy) careful to not over tighten. Once the frame is snug to your liking, the mirror is just double sided tape. I found it easier to start with the narrow end of the glass first, it seemed to fit in the frame better.

You have to break out what is left of the main mirror then you can get to the internals. Replace internal parts (easy) the new mirror attaches to the new internals. Fairly easy repair.

First you need to know if this is for original towing mirror or for aftermarket like the one I purchased (This one is for OEM towing mirror) for this specific glass you need to take off the round part off the glass part them screw the two star wheels two the mirror house and gently click the mirror

The glass comes detached from the trim. Screw the black plastic bezel into the mirror and then you remove the 3M backing on the glass and stick it to the bezel.

So the only way to change the turn signal light is to break the mirror? Thats what I did, will putting the new mirror on with two sided tape enable me to change the light by not breaking the glass next time?
