Very satisfied with this process. The price was acceptable and it included the mirror, the assembly and a mirror cover, although I used my original cover because it was painted. The directions were clear, and I now have a new mirror. Good job.

This mirror assembly was a perfect fit for my 1999 MB E320 4Matic Sedan after I trashed the original in a collision with my recycling bin! I had my local shop put it in and it all went smoothly. They were able to keep the original housing, so I did not have to paint anything. I searched a long time on the internet for this part and it is hard to find! I am so glad I found it here at 1A Auto for a reasonable price!

I should have changed my old mirror long time ago but I thought it was way too complicated to handle for me. When the original mirror became totally unusable I simply did a google search and this one came up. After reading some reviews and watching couple of youtube videos I realized it wasn't a complicated task at all...you basically remove 3 screws and unplug 2 cables to uninstall then plug and screw the new one on. I kept the original screws but it was unnecessary as the new one came with 3 screws. It also came with the cover which was primed and ready to be painted to match the color of your car but in my case it was unnecessary as there was nothing wrong with my cover, just the mirror turned completely brown that I could not see anything through it and could not control the position of the mirror anymore, in fact it was so loose that I had to use scotch tape to keep it in a certain position.

Mirror fit great on my 1997 E320. My original mirror cover fit perfectly avoiding having to paint the one that came with the new mirror. You have to apply some extra carful force just at the end to get the cover to snap into place.????
The mirror went in easily and fit perfectly. I would recommend 1A Auto to everyone.
