  1. step : Replace the tailgate strut supports (0:57)
    • Prop open your tailgate
    • Use a flatblade screwdriver to pry them out of the C clips on each end of the support strut.
  2. step : Install the new tailgate support strut (1:42)
    • Snap the new supports into the c clips.
