Kia Sephia Spectra Front Driver Side Exterior Door Handle TRQ DHA48889

Ordered Kia spectra exterior drivers door handle. Handle fit door opening however it appears the manufacturer used the same lever assy part from the passenger door which resulted in the metal latch rod being inserted into the wrong side of the lever. it was necessary to grind off a small portion of the lever and use the old rod lock to modify latch for use. While this did not present a problem for me I can see where some DIY's might encounter a problem. I personnaly would order the part again but caution others about the need of modification. Had read previously about needing to modify handle from other sources so suspect it is a manufactures mistake but dealers should see that it is corrected. Have installed several of these latchs on Hyundai's without any mods in the past. They were not purchased from 1A tho.
