i received a new fob and programmer to make all the fobs work correctly(the old ones and the new one). It worked great, once i started it i was done in about 20 seconds and have had no problems what so ever.

The new remote programming was very easy and it works great. I did NOT get it to work on my pre-existing remote. Not a deal breaker, but it was a little disappointing. Overall, I have a working remote which is all I need.

It advertised that it would work for an 08 Silverado, but it doesn't. Go buy the auto start kit on Amazon. It's plug and play and worked well. The remote worked for it though.

IT WAS THE SAME FOR ME, On my 2012 2500HD , I had purchased 3 remotes off of amazon. It WORKED !!!!! I WAS ABLE TO PROGRAM THE AMAZON AND THIS ONE. I STILL CARRY IT IN MY GLOVE BOX , IN CXASE I HAVE TO DO IT ONE MORE TIME. MY HOME HAD BURNT DOWN AND MY REMOTES WITH IT. PAUL B

Thank you for the inquiry. Yes, this will allow the fob that comes with the programmer to remote start your vehicle. If your vehicle is equip with the power lift gate, this would not be the correct fob and may not program correctly.

Hello Sebby, The RPO codes for remote start is AP8 or AP3. AP8 means your vehicle is remote start ready, just not installed and AP3 means the remote start feature has been added to the vehicle. The RPO codes are located in the glove box, look for the silver sticker with a bunch of 3 digit codes. If you do not have either of these codes then you will need to purchase DMKRR00030.

Mine did program fine but still wont remote start. Still working on it. Watched a videoclip on it being in valet mode. Have not done yet to do it you turn key on( not start) and push brake pedal 10 times then turn key off then try the remote start sequence.
