Should You Purchase This TRQ Wheel Bearing & Hub Assembly Front Pair for Your Jeep?

If you need new hubs, be sure to get parts as tough and durable as your Jeep. This pair of TRQ aftermarket hubs improves on the original designs to increase the longevity of the part but is guaranteed to fit like the originals. The hub itself is made of the highest grade steel, while the bearing uses a multi-lip seal and heat-resistant grease to reduce wear. TRQ makes wheel bearing and hub assemblies you can rely on and backs them with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

These hubs are built to OEM specifications and are guaranteed to fit a number of Jeep models from 1990 to 1998, including Wranglers, Cherokees, Comanches, and Grand Cherokees. Check the "Vehicle Fit" tab for a complete list. With direct fit parts and a helpful instructional video, you can replace your own hub quickly and easily. Check out the "How-To & Tools tab" to see how it's done. Start by breaking the hub nut and lug nuts loose with your vehicle on the ground. Then raise up the wheel you need to replace the hub on. Remove the tire and the brakes. Then separate the hub from the axle and the wheel knuckle. Then install the new hub and put everything back together.

Hubs fail when moisture or debris creep into the bearing. That causes wear that keeps your wheels from turning smoothly. When that happens the wheels may vibrate or make a groaning sound. They can also cause uneven tire wear. If one hub is worn out, there's a good chance it's partner is almost as worn. That's why it's a good idea to replace your hubs in pairs. This wheel bearing and hub assembly pair is a direct fit replacement for the front end of your Jeep.

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Is there a left and a right wheel bearing? Can you put them on wrong?
Brittany B April 17, 2017
These will be interchangeable and meant for either Driver or Passenger side. As long as they are torqued to the proper specifications you will not have any issues.
Alex P April 17, 2017
Any recommendations on what to do if you strip the 12 point 13 mm bolts? Thanks
Cory P March 31, 2018
Blow the head off with a torch. If no access to a torch use an impact hammer and chisel it off. I used a torch on mine when it was stripped.
