Dust shield rubbing

I have purchased quite a few items from 1A Auto over the years, with no issues. The replacement hub assemblies for my 1998 jeep wrangler fit with no issues, except that once I had everything assembled i noticed that the clearance between the rotor and the dust shield no longer existed and the rotors were rubbing the shield. Now, one could just remove the dust shields during the process, but once you have the new hub assemblies seated and torqued, its a little late, and irritating. After further examination, the lug plate on the new hub assemblies are approx 1/16' thinner than OEM, which causes a clearance issue with the rotor. added thick 1/2 washers over the lug bolts, between the plate and rotor to gain back the clearance. Not sure if that was the best call, but I'm back on the road and have no issues. One other thing. The online video from 1A auto that covers this procedure, the example vehicle does not have a dust shield, so the issue doesn't present itself.
