Been on couple weeks an I dig it hit some mud an off-road parts holding up well

Wrong size bushings
The bushings on the control arms were too wide. I had to grind 1/16" off the center sleeve. Not a happy camper!

Death wobble cure!
This kit was excellent! Great price, speedy shipping, and after a brake cleaner bath and some red enamel paint it looks and handles wonderful. Had to wait for warmer weather to install it.

Worked well.
Overall a great buy. Cant beat the price. But I did have an issue with the sway bar links. The stock ones have ball joint at the top. The ones in the kit are not an actual ball joint. When I installed mine and lowered my suspension back down it bent both links. Not a huge deal. Picked OE up for 27 a piece at NAPA. Recommend this package.

ball and tie rod ends
average quality, good for the price. no zerc fittings. I thought they would have zircs from the picture. they sent two extra lower ball joints and one larger one to who knows what. not part of my order.

Steering for my Jeep
I looked at alot of parts and places but I kept coming back to 1A Auto ad im glad I did. Price was right and when the parts came they were all marked for where they go. I highly recommend 1A Auto they were good for me.

Jeep xj 1996 death wobble fix
Had bad death wobbles. Found this kit for the price of 2 ball joints from auto zone!!! Install was fairly easy. I do wish there was a feature to choose greasable ball joints and tie rods with a zerk fitting. I wasn’t aware that they were pre greased I still packed the rubber with grease. Besides that it’s been great, no more death wobbles and the front suspension and steering was greatly improved. I would definitely recommend this kit to other Jeep owners.

Made my Cherokee drive like new!
I just bought a 2001 XJ that was wandering all over the place. At highway speeds I had about 3-4 inches of play in the steering wheel and no reaction. I bought this kit and installed it and my XJ is now responsive. I actually had a lot of ball joints that were bad, but decided to do them all since this kit was such a great price. And if your in there doing your ball joints you might want to do your whee bearings as well. That’s what I did.

Superb service
It was exactly what I was looking for . site was extremely easy to find the right parts the first time. Superb customer service. And it showed up earlier that projected.. Only one thing package was beat up but I know shipping gets rough with 55-70 lb. Box and it was probably more of shipping department than you directly... So over all well done and Cant Beat The Price... Thank you for a good experience ill deffenitly be interacting again soon.. Have a wonderful day all.

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Do they come with grease fittings?
John W April 3, 2016
Some components have the zerk fittings
Brian F April 4, 2016
Would this fit a 1987 jeep cherokee?
Houston B August 21, 2016
Brian F August 23, 2016
I would call them directly, the 1987 does not come up using their fit tool.
Joe M August 23, 2016
besides the the sway bar links would all this fit on a 1996 grand cherokee that has a 3.5 inch lift?
Michael H November 22, 2016
Yes, however owning and wheeling a 3.5" JGC, Id recommend beefier steering components. More-so if your stuffing 33" tires in there and trimming fenders.
Brian F November 22, 2016
Does this fit a 2 wheel drive 96 jeep cherokee xj?
James M June 12, 2017
No, these are specific to the 4 wheel drive model.
Alex P June 12, 2017
What Parts are included in this kit?
Bryan H September 17, 2017
Far as I believe it has the up/low ball joints, track bar, center link, tie rod ends, sway bar end links...I dont think the sway bar bushings are included...
Ellis C September 17, 2017
All the items you see pictured. They are are original factory designed parts. So if you have any upgraded parts on your XJ now, this kit probably will not work. Atleast not all the parts. But if you currently have all original parts, this should work just fine.

Will this work on a 92 xj with a 4" lift and 31" tires?
Kayla D September 30, 2017
You will need a heavier product for that.
Josue G September 30, 2017
Hey Kayla! This kit will not work with the 4" lift. The track bar will be too short and the sway bar links will be too short as well. Let me know if you have any follow up questions. Happy to help! Good luck and have fun jeepin. :D
Jonathon C September 30, 2017
It fits 98 -01 jeep Cherokee mostly..some Grand Cherokee. If you have bigger wheels. It will work up to 31.50 r15 but it will not last and a lift will put more strain on parts so if your running stock this is deffaintly for you. If this answered your questions or help thumb up.. Have a nice day all.
B L November 13, 2018
will this work for a jeep with 31" tires and 3 inch lift?
Dylan K April 26, 2018
It most definitely will man, I bought that exact kit for my XJ with same lift same size tires. Everything went pretty smooth just take your time and have your tools ready.
Marcos A April 27, 2018
These are meant to be installed and used for factory applications. If you have a lift and over-sized tires these will not last very long.
Tim K April 29, 2018
I have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee sport 5 speed manual. Stock everything. My truck runs rear, 2 wheel drive by default, but has the option for the 4x4 drive "Part time". Is this kit going to be an issue since you already stated below "it wont work with 2 wheel drive"?
