The ignition coil is a crucial part of your ignition system. It's function is to convert the 12 volt power of your vehicle's electrical system in to 35,000 or more volts. This produces a high intensity spark at the spark plug which then ignites the fuel in the cylinder. Coils in general will wear out over time. This will cause a misfire condition. In engines like this with one coil per cylinder you can diagnose a coil by putting a timing light on each one to make sure it is lighting the light consistently.

Parts were very reasonable and they fit!
I recently was told by a mechanic I had a bad coil and spark plug. My auto has almost 140,000 miles on it and I decided to replace all the plugs along with new coils. I had ordered the plugs and coils from another distributor, but the coils would not work. ( I double-checked the part number against the auto
with info from their website). I had to pay shipping to return them for credit, so I decided to order from A1. I had to have pretty quickly because the mechanic had my engine torn down so he couldn't move my auto,. I got express shipping at a very decent rate and the coils were
the correct part. The salesperson on the phone told me that the parts were guaranteed to fit! I will be ordering from A1 again.
them pretty quickly because the mechanic had my engine torn

Was hesitant at first but gave them a try anyway. It's been two weeks since I installed them got rid of the misfire car rides like new again. Most importantly I saved a ton of money avoiding the local auto parts stores. Would definitely recommend!

All seems well so far
Ordered the these coils hesitant due to the incredibly low price compared to other brands or vendors. But I was desperate due to coil #1 gave out. It was worth a try on my '07 nissan murano that has 170,000 miles. And 2 weeks in car is running smooth and have no problems. Pretty satisfied ??

too good to be true?
Dont let the low price scare you away. I feel it my duty to express my pleasure with 1aauto as this is not my first completely satisfied transaction. My parts came fast-packaged perfectly and safe, arrived as expected and fit exactly. the new plugs were exactly what I pulled out and the coils althought so slightly different it is unnoticable, they too fit perfectly and have been working precisely as I expected. Any reservations I had over the low cost have been discarded and I am excited to say I think I've found the last auto part supplier I will ever look for. Thank you 1A Auto!
