Vehicle Fit

The ignition coil is a crucial part of your ignition system. It's function is to convert the 12 volt power of your vehicle's electrical system in to 35,000 or more volts. This produces a high intensity spark at the spark plug which then ignites the fuel in the cylinder. Coils in general will wear out over time and cause a misfire condition. In engines like this that use a coil, if the coil goes bad, the complete assembly needs to be replaced.

Fully Satisfied
As a DIY mechanic I find 1AAuto to be a great help with walk-through-the-process videos and quick & professional handling of orders. Recently had the need for just one Ignition Coil/Coil on Plug (COP) for the family car, and along with their good handling of my order--the cost was 50% of what I would have paid locally. Im fully satisfied with the build quality and performance of the 1AEC100237 Ignition Coil--as I have been with past products. --Dave B.
