In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and put back on the front bumper cover on this '98 Corolla. Same as any '98 to '02 and the only tools you'll need are a flat blade screw driver and a 10 mm socket with a ratchet and an extension.

You need your 10 mm socket and ratchet. There's a couple of bolts up on top, then you'll need a screw driver and there's a few needle clips, what you do is you pry up the center of the clip up and then the clip comes out and then over on the wheel wells, it is another ... let's see, there is another 10 mm bolt right up in here, okay, that's right up at the corner. There's another one right down here and those are on both sides and then right up in here, this car is missing them but you can see right here, you'd have another couple of those clips. One would be there and then one ... let's see, right over here. Okay, and those are right in here which is ... this go right in here grill here. I'm going to need 10 mm socket with a little extension and a ratchet. Okay, we'll speed up here as I take those six 10 mm bolts out, two at the top and then two on each side and you could see me on this one, there's a little bit of damage to the car on the side so it makes it a little tough to get to that bolt but I get in and then actually the bottom one is missing on that side. And then switch over the other side, remove those two bolts from that side.

Okay, kind of go quickly, but through putting the bumper cover back on, put the styrofoam pad back on and kind of just doesn't even really snap into place but just goes into a couple of holes, then you put the bumper cover up into place, make sure it's fit and high up near the lights, okay, and then I'll put the center plug on and then I just went to the hardware store and got a couple of auto motive body plugs and I put the two bottom ones in. Okay, and now I'll start on the side bolts here. Okay, as you can see me start here and then the second here, do a close up. The upper bolts, you can easily kind up put through and then look your way into the holes, they're not that difficult, the lower ones. I didn't get a good shot of it, but the lower one, there's actually 3 different things you'd go through the bumper cover, the fender well and then there's a little bracket you bolt into, the lower ones are a little more difficult. You use the shorter bolts on the uppers and the longer bolts on the lowers. Okay, now we'll finish up here, start on those top 10 mm bolts and then tighten them up with your socket ratchet extension and you should be all set.
