Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years.

Hey, everyone. Sue here from 1A Auto, and today we have the grille off of our 2013 Camry, and we're going to show you how to replace the lower grille trim. If you need these parts or any of the parts for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1aauto.com.

Open the hood. So you grab the safety latch, which is in the center. Bring it up. We're going to have to take the top shroud piece off first, and you get a lot of these body clips. I like to use a little pocket screwdriver, and I'm just going to put it right in there with a tab is and pull up. Then you can work your way right around all the way over.

Set those aside and pull up on the actual cover. There are three more clips up on the top. It's the center grille piece. I'm going to use my body clip tool. Squeeze the tab on both sides. Lift it up.

Now we're going to raise the vehicle up. We're going to use a two post lift. You can use a jack and jack stands at home. We're going to get in the fender wells.

So, we're going to take the under carriage splash shield down that's attached to the bumper. 10 millimeter socket. We're just going to go from one side and work our way over to the other.

I'm going to disconnect the fog lamps so that way I don't have to worry about that when the bumper is in my arms.

Find the harness right here 'cause they have aftermarket lights in. Disconnect it. Now, we've moved to the fender well, and you've got two screws. You have a flat edge lock pin basically, and a little small Phillips. So the flat pin, it's a turn. So, you take a flight edge screwdriver, and you turn it 90 degrees, and then you can pop this one out. And then there's a small Phillips right there. Take your smallest Phillips screwdriver, and it's a plastic screw. So, real gently, turn it and let it actually turn it and bring itself out. Release the fender well from inside, and now we're going to do the same to the other side.

Now, you want to grab the inner part of this bumper and pull it out from the tabs along this body . Do the same to the other side. We have three other ones in the center. One in the center here, and two on each side of the headlight assembly right here. So, we got to take these three body clips out, and we're just going to use a flat head screwdriver. Pry in there. Lift that out. Grab this one. There we go.

Grab the body bumper in the body frame. Pull out. Go over to the other side and do the same.

To do the centerpiece grille trim, take a flat blade screwdriver and pry out on the little tabs. Let's get the actual trim piece past the tab. Just push down on it. Pull it out. And on the top, you're going to do the same thing, but you're going to push up. And then do the same thing, but you're going to push up. Let's get this side. Then the middle tab. Just pull up on it. Grab it, and just slide it right out.

Here we have the new piece from 1A Auto and the factory piece we just took out of the bumper. They look pretty much identical. The only difference is this one's cleaner and not as faded. This was broken obviously. But it's the same clips and mounting spots.

If you need this part or any other part for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1aauto.com.

So, to install, I'm going to place it in the same way. You have the inverted plastic trim piece, so that's going to go inward like this. Line up that center tab. Just grab it with firmly and put it on the tabs.

Now, to do the fog light trim pieces, there's two Phillips mounting screws, so we're going to take those off first. Then you can take the flat blade screwdriver and push down these tabs, and push it out through the front. There is goes.

Here we have the new one from 1A Auto and the one that we just took out of the factory bumper. We're going to have to transfer over the chrome trim. That's easily done. You can see all the tabs comes with. These ones have been distorted. Some are broken and not in the right area. It has the same mounting screws. I'm going to go right in to taking that trim piece off. Two Phillips head screws hold this chrome piece on.

Now, I'm going to hold onto the chrome piece on the front side. Take a small screwdriver, just pull the tab, and let that piece slide right out. There we go.

Now to install it. Line those tabs up. Let it poke right through. Now I can mount the two Phillips screws.

Now this trim piece is really nice. At 1A Auto, it comes with all three grille pieces if you need them as a set or individually. Then we have the bezel to do around the fog lamp--the silver trim around the fog light.

With a small screwdriver, push that tab through, and you have one on the top here. Push that through. Then the bottom one's a tab, and then a guide.

Now we're going to line that up. If you want to just grab it with your hand and snap it right through so you don't break it. Now we can line it right up onto the bumper cover. Let's see if all the tabs came through. Yep. All the tabs poked through, and they're anchored, so now I can put the two Phillips screws back in. The last one up in the top. There you go.

Now it's time to reassemble our front bumper cover. I'm just going to pick it up and bring it up to the body. See the clips that goes around the headlight. Slide your hand around. Line up the side trim into that bumper. Just push the clips in. Do the same on the other side. Now it's locked in.

Now we're going to put the three trim pieces in the center inside here. There's the one in the center and one on each headlight ear tab. Then I'm going to raise it up.

We're going to connect the fog light connector before we put the undercarriage splash shield back up. Just line that up and click it in.

So now I'm going to put the driver's side splash shield up. Make sure that you tuck it up underneath the cutouts the way it goes in, and then on the outside for the mounting screws use a 10 mm socket. Slide one over here.

Put the shield part up underneath the bumper cover, lining up the actual mounting screws. Looks like I'm going to take this one 'cause the last person that took it out didn't put it in. Let's repair that then. This is going to go right up in here. I'm not going to snug that down because I'm going to line up this side first. Two screws down here left in the small plastic trim piece. Looks like the bumper here is missing a little bit of the ear. Slide that in. And we have this keyway. Small flat bladed screwdriver. Slide it in and turn it 90 degrees.

Now before you place the top radiator shroud plastic, you got to make sure you put these three mounting bolts for the grille in place.

Now, you can take this trim piece, and make sure it covers that latch. Line it up in all the spots. Then you can put all seven clips in. We're pulling the center piece out, lining those little finger in spot, and then pushing them down. Put the last one, and there we go.
