How to raise and support your vehicle on 12 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Jack Stands
Floor Jack
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To raise and support your vehicle—we've got it up here on our two-post lift—you'd come along with your floor jack, if you're doing this on the ground, and you could jack it up on the frame rail here. Then put a jack stand underneath it on either side, and you can do your front-end work.
Then, of course, at the back, you can jack up right here on the bottom of the differential and put your jack stands underneath the axle if you want to do brake work. Or you could jack this up and then put your jack stands underneath where the front of the rear release springs are.
That way, you could drop the axle if you need to do that type of work. We've also got a tripod jack stand, just for extra stability with this on the two-post lift because it's a long vehicle. But otherwise, that's how you would raise and support it.
