Challenges of Outer Tie Rod End installation on Old Honda in the Midwest.
I was impressed with the A1 video on installation which got me to buy these 2003 Honda Civic Tie Rod ends. However, I was unable to remove the locking nut that secures the ball joing end onto the connecting rod. To much salt and rust over 15 years in the Midwest! Penetrating oil and a touch and a BIG guy twisting on it still failed to loosen the nut. I called A1 and their tech man helped me clarify that this is a common issue. They referred me to a blog which was not any help but I did find info on Utube....Despite I still don’t have the new ball joints put on, I think A1 is doing a great job at a great price...they for sure did their part in the deal.
