Honda Civic Civic Del Sol Head Gasket & Bolt Set DIY Solutions ENG00050

Changed my head gasket, intake & exhaust gaskets & head bolts over half a year back because I was slowly but steadily losing coolant & oil. The old head gasket was dead FLAT and the intake gasket was fossilized onto the engine. Didn't really need the exhaust gasket bc i got one of them with the new catalytic converter i put in a few years ago (also from 1A auto). Don't know exactly about the head bolts but always a good idea to change them when you do the head gasket. It's been round about ten months since I changed the gaskets and haven't lost any coolant. I've lost a bit of oil but that's because I've got another leak elsewhere and it's too slow to bother about (only need a spot to to top-up once every couple months). With this job you'll also need to get a torque wrench if don't already have one. When you put the new head bolts in when you're nearly done, look up the exactly sequence to put them in and the exact torques for each one each time. You don't torque them all down

I ordered this kit and 3 of the items in it failed. The head gasket and head bolts lead to water in my oil and the intake manifold gasket was leaking as well because it is paper. Don't waste your money. Buy the parts individually from another site.
