Good part
This replacement part fixed a problem I had with my 1999 Honda Accord. Been running for 3 months now without a problem. The control module says for Tec Distributor but I used mine with a Hitachi and it fit and works fine.

Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Will this fit a 1998 Honda Accord LX 2.3L VTec?
Cathy L July 14, 2017
Yes, as long as the manufacturer of your OEM distributor is TEC.
Alex P July 14, 2017
Is this the part for shifting. My transmission is shifting funny from 1st to 2nd will this help fix the problem?
Crystal R September 27, 2018
No it wont. This is for ignition, aka spark. It will have nothing to do with your transmission.
Jesse E September 27, 2018
The ignition control module is the heart of an automobiles ignition system, because it regulates spark generation within the engine.
Christa R September 27, 2018
Hi Chris...This part is not for transmission shifting...It is an ignition control module located in the distributor...When this part fail, the car just stops, When the ignition control modular cools down, the car starts again. Hope this info can help.
Melvin M September 27, 2018
Not for transmission shifts. Cranking only.
Vernon M January 17, 2019
