This replacement electric fuel pump is just what you need to get your GM Full Size Truck in good working order again!

NOTE: There is a code on the harness that plugs INTO the sending unit. This unit only works with code TCU. Units with TCU code use 1 connector.

Our electrical and electronic parts are subject to strict quality control testing.  Once the item has been installed or plugged in, it is no longer eligible for a refund.  The item may be eligible for replacement, only if it is found to have a manufacturing defect. Before purchasing, please ensure proper diagnosis of the failed original part is performed

This fuel pump includes a new electrical connector harness. You will need to remove your existing electrical connector and install the new connector provided in order to install your new fuel pump (instructions are included with the pump).

This fuel pump is not a universal fit item. Because your vehicle’s original connector is prone to failure due to corrosion, cracking, loose pin housings, and wire crimp issues, the OE manufacturer has changed the shape of the connector, requiring the install of a new electrical connector during fuel pump service.

Lifetime Warranty

This item is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser. Please keep your invoice for proof of this warranty.

    • Repeat on the upper line with the blue tab.
    • Use a screwdriver to help if it’s difficult to reach.
    • Disconnect the rest of the hoses.
    • Loosen the heat shield between the exhaust and the tank.

    • Place the new assembly in and lock the locking ring in place by turning it clockwise into the brackets.
    • Secure with hammer and chisel.
    • Plug in the new lead and use wire taps to connect the wiring with the old square ended lead.
    • New large black lead connects to the old black lead.
    • New thin black lead connects to old black and white lead.
    • Purple and purple leads connect as do the grey ones.

2002 Chevy 2500 fuel pump
Purchased a new fuel pump for my 2002 chevy 2500hd 6.0 and it worked great. NO instructions in the box but called and had them emailed within 5 minutes. You WILL need to rewire your harness but if you are semi mechanically inclined you'll be fine. Great and friendly experience. Recommend this company.

How do I determine which fuel pump I need for a 2002 chevy silverado?
chick on Mar 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I believe if you look in your glovebox and look for RPO code "EVA" then you would use this fuel pump and sender. I called 1AAuto and they guided me through making sure I was getting the right one.
Why doesnt this come with a fuel pressure sensor? And does it matter if it has it or not?
Jose S on Apr 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The pump is specific for models with a "TCU" harness code, which means it does not have the fuel tank pressure sensor. If you have two plugs on top of your vehicle please see our listings for "TCF" harness code for you year, make and model.
Where do I find the code?
Jerry K on Jun 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Jerry I found the code by calling my local parts store (O'Reillys) gave them my vehicle info.... vin-yr-make -model & engine. then I called 1aauto and they assisted me the rest of the way. fuel pump worked great.
What psi is expected from this pump? My 2001 2500 requires 55-62psi according to a GM tech.
Steve T on Jan 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At this time we do not have the exact psi expectations, but we may confirm that our manufacturers use a supplied OEM sample to base their design off of and our pump will be within OE specifications.
How often do these pumps go bad?
Sam G on Dec 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello,
We have a low return rate on these parts. If installed properly you should see many years of use.
