Part Details

  • Quantity:   Pair

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Pre-Assembled

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Junk
Did not improve anything. Everything is tight on the suspension but the struts are loud. Pops and ticks when going over bumps. The car has 180,000 miles, so hell with it. The front rotors and pads are junk too. They get hot and start to make sounds. Send the extra cash and get name brand or factory parts.

Perfect fit!
Parts arrived on time and were a perfect fit for my 2000 Taurus. The on-line "How to" video aided greatly in the installation process. Not quite as easy to do as the expert in the video made it look, but DIY do-able nonetheless. I ended up having to drop the subframe a couple of inches in order to get the new struts into the steering knuckle. The first side I did took a couple of days to soaking bolts in penetrating oil and figuring out the steps, but once I figured it out, the other side took about two hours from start to finish.

2004 Mercury Sable Strut Assy.
I watched 1Aautos video on how to install the spring and strut assemblies. I thought I could do the job myself so I purchased the strut assemblies and I installed the front ones first. I now have a rattle that I didnt have before. I called 1Aauto and they were very helpful and tried to solve my problem. They said they would ship me another pair if I dont find any other problems. They seem very willing to help. Tom S

Who is the manufacturer?
T K June 24, 2017
We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to ask.
