Bought this for my elderly neighbor's 1989 Ford Explorer hatchback latches. Fit was perfect and solved the problem!

Would not fit my 1999 Ford Explorer Xlt. They were to long and to thick. After installing the first one on driver's door it would not shut. Had to remove, put old one back on. Will be sending back.
Broken bushings fixed!

The kit fit. I would recommend this to anyone, even though I've bought the brand in the past and was disappointed with the degredation soon after. Very easy to install. Thumbs up on this one!

This was a simple fix. Just unscrew each latch pin and replace the old plastic piece with the new one. Replace both at the same time. You will need a Torx head socket to remove the pins.

Just unscrew the latch bolts on either side of the of the liftgate door frame. Slide the old ones off and install the new ones. If your liftgate is in good shape you should not have to adjust them. I would be very cautious about adjusting the lift gate itself as the geometry can be tricky.
