NOTE: For 1999-2007 Models: These mirror caps fit the 2008 and newer style mirrors only (Original Equipment or Upgraded Style Mirrors). They do not fit the original factory designed 2007 and older style mirrors.

These mirror caps make great replacements and have good cost savings over the dealer parts.

"Paint to match finish" refers to a smooth, paintable surface. This item will be shipped unpainted but will be ready for paint. Final preparation is suggested for better paint coverage and adhesion.

How do you remove the old cover on a 2016 f250?

BEST ANSWER: Only certain mirrors have a removable cap. I belive thwy have to be the ones with power fold and power extend. Mine just snapped out and these ones snap in.
Will these fit on the black mirrors that I bought from this website? They are the power folding upgrade.

These replace the caps that came on the truck? I lost the cap and notice a lot of the ones online are just covers that stick on the original cap.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, these are replacements not covers they will fit in the factory location and are primed and ready to paint. Also a considerable amount cheaper than from the dealer at $99 a piece. Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: yes very glossy but not painted, they are ready for paint. i used them a while without even painting them they look awesome
