I ordered over the phone (GREAT customer service rep) with easewas emailed every shipping detail, items were at my house quick....lower control arm had broken studone quick phone call and another one was on the way... no fuss no muss! ?? Try that with Rock Auto and watch what happens!?? you will be buying a new one somewhere else and no refund....1Aauto parts fit perfectly ?? Jeff B/GA

All the parts in this kit were all to spec and fit perfectly on my 2004 Ranger. Every needed bolt or nut was included such that I didn't have to use any of the old nuts that I tore up getting the original parts off. The packaging was disappointing. They used some ECO-friendly inflated pillow packing, but these heavy parts just pushed them around. That made them ineffective packing. This resulted in some studs on the Lower Arms being bent. I bent them back and cleaned up the threads and all went on fine. I've informed customer service and they said they'd pass on the info.

If you have a 98-01 Ford Ranger, 2.5 - 2.3L 4cyl engine, with front coil springs, this will fit. Great price for this kit. Mechanic wanted over $2k for parts and Labor, I purchased this kit, and some other parts for just over $500; then did it myself. Can't go wrong with 1aauto.

I ordered a full suspension kit, and really only had a problem with one lower control arm, the shock studs one stud broke when torque to specs. Just got the run arounds with customer service.

First time using 1a auto. It was easy and when I had a question, I was able to talk to someone unlike rock auto. Rock Auto seems to want to sell to people but not talk to them. 1a autos customer service blew rock auto away. And its free shipping.

Better than the OE parts because it has grease fittings. Nice hardware and saved a lot of time having bearings and ball joints already pressed in.

Parts seem to be made with quality. Comes with grease fittings for ball joints on upper control arm and grease packets for inner tie rods. Cons: 1) wont fit any model equipped with torsion bars despite vehicle fit confirmation via website or phone call. 2) upper control arms are side specific and arent designated/labeled as such on either the part or any packaging.

Horrible material on lower control arms. Stud that is meant to hold shock up twisted clean off with barely a twist as I went to snug up one of the rusty old nuts.( new nuts not included!) Luckily the control arm itself is made of the same crappy beer can metal, so I was able to easily cut of the stud, drill it out like butter and put a carriage bolt through. I do NOT trust these parts out on the road! I am carrying three more carriage bolts, multi tool and drill with me just in case. The company refunded my money for one control arm but I really should have got refunded for ALL the parts in my order, since I don't trust ANY of them now!

The parts fit, but they're very cheaply made. The shock absorber studs on the lower control arms are pot metal, so they snapped right off when tightened. Hand tighten the shocks, then just give a little snug-up with a wrench and you might be OK. We drilled out the studs and inserted our own. That added a whole day to the job.

2003 Mazda b3000. Overall decent replacement. The rubber boots for the control arm ball joints collapsed after 2 months of use. There also seems to be very little grease/lubricant on the non-greasable ball joints. I had to spray some penetrating fluid into them. One of the shock absorber mounting bolts snapped before torquing it to the specified torque. Had to retro fit a replacement. The parts are sturdy ( treated alloy steel?) And fit well. If they made the ball joint rubber boots and welded studs of better quality and put greaseble fittings on all four ball joints, this set would've received 5 stars.

For the ranger, in order to determine fit it is based off the trim and if your vehicle has RWD. For the ranger's that this kit is listed to fit, it is not specific to torsion bar or coil spring suspension.

More than likely, it will fit. However, discuss this with your suspension specialist first. Once you've lifted the truck, you've pretty much screwed up all the suspension geometry. so all bets are off.
