I drive a 1998 f150 xl 4.2L 4wd 5 speed manual. Needed just tie rods but the price of one inner and outer tie rod with a sleeve anywhere around me was about $90. So for $40 more I basically rebuilt my front suspension. I dont work on my vehicles all that much but their videos made it incredibly easy to do it myself. I would highly highly recommend buying this. Everything slid right in after I took a wire brush to everything to eliminate that mass amounts of rust I have. I will be purchasing all my product through 1A auto from now on thanks for the hard work guys and girls.

Front end suspension kit good fit
Overall very happy with the quality, ease of installation. With Harbor Freight Ball Joint press tool $89, a little Youtube video time and some care and patients, was easy weekend job. However, critical mistake by vendor not including parts identification instructions on which side goes where for tie rod installation would have been easier. Call to vendor with gave me the answers I was looking for. All in all, very pleased with finished product.

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Are the grease boots sealed?
Charles P May 24, 2017
Some are, and some are not. I purchased some that were seal, but was able to drill and tap a grease fitting into the upper ball joints with very little effort
Allan D May 24, 2017
These parts will most likely come sealed, but depending on what we have in stock sometimes they have grease fittings.
Tim K May 24, 2017
Yes they are, but I had to separate the rubber boot just to get them installed or I would have damage them. Once they where installed and the rubber boots back on all I did was add grease and they work fine no issue so far. Had then now for three months
Giovanny S May 25, 2017
Do they have greese fitting or are they sealed?? If soo do you have 1s with greese fitting.
Chuck H December 30, 2017
They have grease fittings and they came with the grease fittings.
