Super Happy
Hello. I had been researching my problem with the shifter not always coming out of park for my 2001 Ford Explorer. The best instructional video by far was 1aauto. I did not even realize that they were a parts retailer. I looked up their prices and compared them to others and felt confident they were comparable. Not only that, my part arrive super fast and after I completed the DIY replacement from their video, problem solved. Thank 1aauto. (I also bought a brake switch from them with same satisfaction). I am new to this sight, but so far so good. Next I will be figuring out what is wrong with my Cruise Control....

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Where is this part located on the car?
James W April 13, 2016
it is located just above the shift rail close to the shift want to be sure that its set up right or the shifter will bind up or not shift at all.
William M April 13, 2016
Under the colum, right side of you are in the driver seat. Remove the protective panel and reach back as far as you can. Need to lower the colum all the way down to replace it.

My 2000 ford f150 wont shift into 4th gear I was told it was the shift sensor in the tranny. ? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Afrian H June 2, 2017
The shift interlock sensor will only keep the automatic transmission from shifting from Park to a Drive or any other position. Sounds like your issues is with the transmission its self.

2002 Mazda B3000. Is the shifter.. part... The same as the Ranger?
Tommy B October 13, 2017
The Mazda B3000 would use a separate part.
