How to Replace Blower Motor 09-14 Ford F-150

How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a bad or broken blower motor on 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 Ford F-150

  1. step 1 : Removing the Blower Motor
    • Use a 7mm socket to remove the three trim bolts from the glove compartment, leaving the glove compartment latched
    • Slide the glove compartment out
    • Use a body clip to remove the two clips holding up the felt panel underneath the glove compartment
    • Disconnect the motor's electrical connector
    • Use either an 8mm socket or a gear ratchet to remove the blower motor mounting bolts
    • Wiggle the blower motor to pull it out
  2. step 2 : Replacing the Blower Motor
    • Slide the blower motor into position and line up the mounting bolts
    • Insert the mounting bolts and tighten them with an 8mm socket
    • Reconnect the electrical connector
    • Slip the felt panel's bottom slot over the stud underneath the glove compartment
    • Snap the two felt panel clips into place
    • Line up and insert the glove compartment

The blower motor & resistor fit with no issues in my 2013 F150 and it is as quiet as the original.
Rplacement blower for vehicle heater

I am a female. I purchased this part to fix the heater in the truck. It was very easy to take the old one out and to replace the new one. The heater would not heat the vehicle and was making a horrible grinding noise. We figured this might be the problem and it was exactly what was wrong. Heater fixed and we did not have to pay HIGH labor charges to get it fixed. Pays to do things yourself!!

I received the first blower on time. Installed it buy watching your you tube video , it started smoking and sounded like rocks were in it! I emailed you there and you sent me a new one and I didn't have to ship the first one back. So second time installing it works ??. ALL GOOD THX
