This pair of headlights are acrylic. They where a perfect fit for my 1999 ford explorer xlt. Easy to remove old one's and install new one's. Easy to align if you have very level land and follow instructions from you tube. I continue to get warnings that my brights are on but they are not. Don't know what the problem is.

The quality of the headlights are excellent. The clarity of the headlights was an instant upgrade to my 18 year old headlights. The lights were packaged very well and are of great quality. It took my mechanic less than 30 minutes to install both headlights before I was up and running. Also, I was amazed at the quick turnaround of getting the headlights delivered. They were shipped out the same day I ordered, and they were delivered in a matter of days.

These are an identical replacement. The hardest part of the replacement was getting the old lights out. I had to use a hacksaw and cut one of the holders on the old lights, but once they were out the new ones slipped right in and are way brighter than I expected!

As a fairly new customer , I've bought a bunch of items, and the parts are right, the delivery is always on time or early and the prices are great, but best are the video's that are excellent for correct installation. I will continue to do business with these folks.
My opinion of Pinion gear adjuster

I found the manufacture quality of these replacement lamps to be inferior to the OEM parts. I recommend carefully inspecting the mounting tab/adjusters for breaks and, to lubricate the threads on the adjusting rods before installing. I also recommend removing the grille if the pinion drive adjuster just spins, you can adjust lamps with a philips screw driver. Otherwise, the lamps are nice and bright.

As usual, Parts fit and 1A's youtube videos helped. This was an easy project. Take great care to match your headlight alignment and focus as directed in the video. Otherwise your lights won't point directly down the road. Don't be afraid to tweak the focus over a few days until you are happy

Hello, I was the original buyer of my 1999 Explorer and the headlight cover was plastic/composite. I polished both a couple of times before replacing them.

My car is a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT. The headlights are crystal clear plastic. They fit. The only problem with mine is the adjustment screw housing separated several times before I could get the headlight attached to the car. I still would buy them again. Good value.
